Former President Jimmy Carter Dies At 100

A former U.S. president has passed away. Former president Jimmy Carter is dead at the age of 100. His son said he died yesterday at his home in Plains, Georgia. He is the longest-lived former President in our nation’s history. He and wife Rosalynn Carter were married for 77. She passed in 2023. Flags will fly at half staff at the Capitol for 30 and last night the Empire State building was lit in red, white, and blue to honor the former president.
