A very troubling situation for TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie and her family is taking place. Authorities in Tucson say the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today anchor Savannah Guthrie, is being treated as a crime scene. Officials believe evidence shows she did not leave on her own. Guthrie, who has limited mobility and needs daily medication, was last seen at her home late Saturday night and was reported missing by her family on Sunday. Understandably, Savannah will no longer be a part of NBC’s coverage during the Winer Olympics.
