Jada Pinkett Smith has scored a legal victory against the former friend of husband Will Smith. Pinkett Smith was awarded about $33-thousand in attorney’s fees in her legal battle with Bilaal Salaam, less than the nearly $50-thousand she originally requested. The fees came from Jada successfully getting parts of Salaam’s emotional distress lawsuit dismissed. Salaam had accused Jada of causing emotional distress, though portions of the case were thrown out by the court.
