More drama surrounding Chris Brown today as he is not accepting an honor from the state of Texas. The recognition came from Rep. Jasmine Crockett during a September 12 stop of Brown’s co-headlining tour with Usher in Dallas, drawing criticism over Brown’s history of violence against women. State Rep. Venton Jones presented Brown the award and later went on The Don Lemon Show to denounce Brown and apologize to women who are victims of violence from men. Brown then went on his IG story to diss Jones and told the state to keep the award.
