According to new reporting from Complex, Hirschfield’s original demo has been released as part of evidence from the lawsuit. You can hear the chorus at the 45-second mark from the demo sound exactly the same as Drake’s hook in the song. The only question listeners are asking now is why is this lawsuit coming out now after the song came out in May and if this was just created for a cash grab or was it created before the actual song came out. Drake’s team has completely denied the allegation.
