Russell Brand’s verdict has been brought down and it’s very bad news for the comedian/actor. Brand has been found guilty of rape and sexual assault in a London court. A jury convicted the 51-year-old on one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault connected to allegations spanning from 1999 to 2005. Brand, who denied all charges and maintained that his past relationships were consensual, was acquitted on other counts. He is expected to be sentenced early next week.
