Moxee Hop fest is August 6th thru 8th
This August, celebrate summer in Moxee HopTown USA at the Moxee Hop Festival. Three days of family fun, food, vendors, kids’ games, and traditions.
The 21+ Budweiser Beer Garden features James Beam Thursday, Rival Band and American Honey Band Friday, and Genevieve and Cody Beebe & The Crooks Saturday. No cover Thursday. $20 Friday and Saturday, after 6pm.
Plus, free entertainment on the Yakima Federal Family Stage.

Swan Vocational Golf Tournament
Tee up for a great cause at the inaugural Swan Vocational Hwy 97 Classic, happening Friday, September 18th, 2026, at Mt. Adams Country Club. Join golfers, businesses, and community members from across the Yakima Valley for a day of golf, connection, and fun — all while supporting a meaningful mission.
Player registration is now open, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and community partners looking to make an impact. They are also seeking raffle item donations from local businesses and supporters to help make this event a success.
The Hwy 97 Classic benefits Swan Vocational Enterprises, creating employment opportunities, mentorship, and life-skills training for young adults in White Swan and The Lower Valley.

The West Valley High School Junior ROTC Car Wash is Saturday Aug 15 from 10a to 4p on the North East corner of Nob Hill and 40th Ave in front of Calvary Chapel.
Raising funds to go to The Junior ROTC National Raider Challenge this fall… Come support our JROTC Cadets with a donation and drive away with a sparkling clean car!
