Leaving an Air BNB soon? Well, you won’t have to do as many cleanup chores. Starting November 20th, Airbnb is putting strict limits on checkout chores. Hosts can no longer demand time-consuming cleaning tasks like stripping beds, washing and putting away dishes, or starting laundry before you head out. Instead, hosts can only ask for reasonable basics—like leaving used dishes in the sink, gathering towels, or sorting trash. Plus, all rules must be clearly listed up front when you book.
