Ariana Grande has had it up to here with the tabloids these days. In a new Vanity Fair cover story, Arina Grande opened up about her difficult relationship with fame throughout her 15+ year career. The pop superstar also examines her “hard relationship” with her fans over the years, who frequently are harshly critical of Grande as she continues to evolve as an artist. “Tale as old as time being a woman in this industry. You are treated differently, and you are under a microscope in a way that some people aren’t,” Grande shared. These tabloids have been trying to destroy me since I was 19 years old. I’m 31 years old and I’m not a perfect person, but I am definitely deeply good, and I’m proud of who I’m becoming. I will never let disreputable evil tabloids ruin my life or my perception of what is real and good.”
