There’s officially a new billionaire in music. According to a new report by Forbes, Bruce Springsteen is now a newly minted millionaire. The New Jersey music legend has an apparent net worth of $1.1 billion, based on a “conservative” estimate made by Forbes. Springsteen joins fellow billionaire musicians Jay-Z ($2.5 billion), Rihanna ($1.4 billion), and Taylor Swift ($1.3 billion). Springsteen’s wealth was dramatically increased when he sold the rights to his back catalog to his longtime label, Columbia Records, for $500 million back in 2021, which is the largest deal ever for an individual body of work.
