A major personality at ESPN have been let go following massive layoffs in the company. According to Yahoo Sports, it was confirmed today that Cam Newton would not be returning to the network. He has been laid off as part of the network’s most recent round of cuts. This was a shocking move considering he just signed an extension with the company last Summer and was a staple on their most popular show First Take, often referred to as Shannon Sharpe’s replacement.
