Chris Brown Lawsuit Over Nightclub Attack Dismissed By Music Producer

It looks like Chris Brown is off the hook. Brown’s legal battle with music producer Abe Diaw is close to coming to an end. According to a report TMZ published on Monday, June 30, Diaw asked a judge in Los Angeles County to dismiss the lawsuit he filed against Brown following an alleged brawl at TAPE nightclub in London. In the lawsuit he filed in 2023, Diaw claimed Brown struck him with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila several times and stomped on him while he was on the ground. He also alleged that the attack left him with some serious injuries. Now, Diaw wants the case dismissed with prejudice. Diaw’s request to drop the lawsuit with prejudice means the case cannot be refiled in the future, which could mean he and Brown reached a settlement.
