Bad news for Chris Brown today as he will remain locked up in the UK after being denied bail for a 2023 nightclub incident. A judge in the U.K. has ordered Chris Brown to remain in police custody after he was arrested this week. The 36-year-old singer was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm after he allegedly hit a music producer in the head with a tequila bottle two years ago. The incident happened in February 2023 at the Tape nightclub in London. Music producer Abe Diaw alleged Brown hit him in the head several times with a bottle of tequila. After his knees buckled, Diaw claimed Brown punched and kicked him while he was on the ground. According to Reuters, prosecutors told the judge it was an “unprovoked attack.” Judge Hirst ordered Brown to remain in custody until his hearing on June 13.
