Drake’s house in Toronto was recently the victim of an unfortunate trend for many celebrities. DJ Akademiks revealed that Drake was swatted “yesterday.” Ak believes these incidents are connected to Roc Nation and recent of events of other big names like himself and GAMMA CEO Larry Jackson being swatted as well. For those unaware, swatting is the act of calling a police department and claiming that a violent act or hostage situation is happening inside a home. This sparks an urgent police response, and more often than not, it includes a SWAT team. Swatting is highly illegal.
