It sounds like the popular rap group A$AP Mob is no more, at least according to one of their members. ASAP is “a thing of the past,” per Ferg. The status of the collective was brought up during the Darold artist’s recent 56-minute chat with Touré. Asked directly whether he was currently “in ASAP,” Ferg gave a thoughtful response that both honored the past while keeping eyes on the future.
“Well, I don’t think there is ASAP anymore,” Ferg said. “There’s not a Cozy Tape out, a new one. Or there’s not an office, there’s not a record label, ASAP Worldwide. There’s not a record label. I think it’s a thing of the past.”
