PEOPLE reports that Coulier was diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkin lymphoma, after suffering from an upper respiratory infection that caused swelling in his lymph nodes — one area swelling up to the size of a golf ball. His doctors advised him to get the appropriate scans done (CAT and PET), as well as a biopsy, and ultimately, it showed the life-changing diagnosis.
