Some awful news today regarding Gonzaga alum and #2 overall pick Chet Holmgren. Unfortunately, Holmgren suffered a foot injury at the CrawsOver pro-am over the weekend in Seattle, which led to speculation that his rookie season might be in jeopardy. Today, it was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN that Holmgren has a Lisfranc injury and will have to miss out on the first year of his career. We wish him a speedy recovery!
Oklahoma City Thunder 7-footer Chet Holmgren will miss the 2022-2023 season with a Lisfranc injury to his right foot. Holmgren, the No. 2 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, suffered the injury in a Pro-Am game in Seattle on Saturday.
