Hip-Hop Slumps To New Low On The Billboard Hot 100

Hip-Hop made some not so good history today in terms of it’s popularity in the mainstream. Chatter about the decline of hip-hop’s commercial success in 2025 continues, and now, there’s some new data that proves just how bad things have gotten. Per Billboard, the highest ranking rap song currently is NBA YoungBoy’s track, “Shot Callin” at No. 44.
