Italy Will Hold Crisis Meeting to Reckon With Skyrocketing Pasta Prices

Italy has always been known as one of the birthplaces and hotbeds for pasta in the world but right now they have a pasta problem. Italy plans on holding a crisis meeting Thursday as pasta prices continue to rise. The meeting, which will be chaired by a watchdog appointed by the government, is the first for the newly created committee tasked with keeping tabs on unusual price movements. The increase in pasta costs coincides with the overall rise in the cost of consumer goods.
