A major win in court today happened for actress Blake Lively in her ongoing tense legal battle with former co-star Justin Baldoni. A judge has dismissed a countersuit filed by Justin Baldoni against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and the couple’s publicist. As reported by People, on Monday (June 9), Judge Lewis J. Liman tossed Baldoni and his production studio’s $400 million suit that accused Lively, Reynolds, and publicist Leslie Sloane of defamation and extortion. Liman also dismissed Baldoni’s $250 million defamation lawsuit against The New York Times, which accused the publication of falsifying its bombshell report about Lively suing the actor-director for sexual harassment.
