A terrible incident has struck the family of a popular NFL coach. Elijah Zion Bieniemy, the 27-year-old son of Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, has been arrested in Ashburn, Virginia, on multiple felony charges following the shooting of his stepmother, Mia Bieniemy. While Mia is currently in stable condition after sustaining serious injuries, the motive for the attack remains under investigation ahead of the suspect’s August 31 preliminary hearing. The incident occurred while Eric Bieniemy was away in Missouri for team training camp.
