A frenzy broke out on the internet over the weekend when a text message thread from Kendrick Lamar’s cousin all but confirmed a new Kendrick album was on the way. His cousin asked Lamar if the album was on the way and Kendrick’s response was simply “We coming.” Welp, that was later debunked by close collaborator of Lamar’s, DJ Hed, who responded to that thread on Twitter, simply posting a cap emoji. So we shall see if that text thread was real or just fake.
