Season two of the mega popular Netflix series ‘Squid Game’ might not be here right away. The hugely popular series won’t be getting its second season until late next year or possibly even 2024, according to it’s creator Hwang Dong-hyuk. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Squid Game creator/director/writer Dong-hyuk said he is currently speaking with Netflix about Season 2 and so far has “three pages worth of ideas that he plans to turn into a script.”
They told him it was too absurd, too violent. They told him no one would watch. But with ‘Squid Game,’ Hwang Dong-hyuk turned rage and desperation into a radical hit—and he’s ready to put humanity back to the test.
