Hurry Up Tomorrow garnered the largest sales week for any album since Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department debuted at No. 1 on the May 4, 2024, while also marking the biggest week for an R&B/hip-hop album since Travis Scott’s Utopia debuted at the top of the chart on the Aug. 12, 2023. The album sold over 420,000 copies which in this day and age is hard to do.
