TMZ reports that the incarcerated singer was recording a verse for a song on his phone when a prison riot broke out, placing him directly in harm’s way. Lanez fled the scene when pepper spray came into the picture — leaving his verse unfinished. But based on the content of what he was rapping about, he’ll probably have a few bars dedicated to the wild scenario when he gets back to the booth.
