Fans believed the two were no longer cool after Gunna was released from prison in 2022 after taking an Alford plea deal, which had many believe the Wunna rapper snitched on Thug. In his since-deleted tweet, Young Thug ominously wrote, “Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don’t know you my guy.”
